This policy explains what personal information Insomniacs Coffee collects when you use this store, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Insomniacs Coffee is the trading name of Prairiestack, 9169 W State St #617, Garden City, ID 83714, United States. You can contact us about privacy at hello@insomniacs.coffee.

1. What we collect

  • Order and account details you give us: name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you supply one, and the contents of your order.
  • Subscription details: the coffee, interval and delivery address of a subscription you start, and its status.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Messages you send us by email or through the store's contact form.
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically when you browse: device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the store.

2. Why we use it

  • To take payment, fulfil and deliver your order, including passing the delivery details our roasting partner needs to ship your coffee.
  • To run a subscription you have started, including charging it when a delivery is due and telling you about it.
  • To provide support and handle delivery problems, returns and refunds.
  • To keep records of orders and payments as tax and accounting law requires.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
  • To understand how the store is used so we can improve it, and — only where the law allows and where you have not opted out — to measure marketing.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only for those purposes:

  • Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders and payments.
  • Our payment provider, to take and refund payments.
  • Our US roasting partner, to roast and ship your order. They receive the name, delivery address and order contents needed to fulfil it, and act as our processor for that information.
  • Our email and support providers, to send order and delivery emails and to answer your messages.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, where they are enabled on the store and where the law allows.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

4. Cookies

This store uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work — for example to keep your cart and your session — and, where enabled, cookies for analytics and marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones will stop the cart and checkout from working.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep support messages for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for our records. Subscription details are kept while the subscription is active and afterwards as part of the order record.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses, or to receive it in a portable form. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell personal information. To make a request, email hello@insomniacs.coffee. 7. Marketing email

If you sign up for marketing email, you can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by emailing us. We will still send you emails about an order or a subscription you have with us.

8. Children

This store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, and we keep access limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
